Terms of Service

The rules for using the Stylr app.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stylr mobile application and stylrapp.io website (together, the "Service"), operated by Stylr("Stylr", "we", "us"), based in Zagreb, Croatia (contact: Brandon Carpenter, brandon@stylrapp.io). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Stylr. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we become aware that a user does not meet the minimum age, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. The service

Stylr provides AI-powered wardrobe organisation, outfit recommendations, and virtual try-on functionality, along with product recommendations that may include affiliate links (see Section 9). Virtual try-on results are AI-generated approximations. Fit, drape, and color rendering may not perfectly reflect how a garment will look or fit in reality. Stylr does not guarantee purchase satisfaction based on try-on previews.

5. User content

5.1 What you upload

You may upload photos of yourself and your clothing items ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading it, you grant Stylr a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service to you.

5.2 Acceptable use

You agree not to upload content that:

• Depicts anyone other than yourself without their consent.
• Is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others.
• Contains malware or attempts to interfere with the Service.
• You do not have the right to upload (e.g. copyrighted images you do not own).

5.3 AI-generated content

The AI-generated try-on images Stylr creates for you belong to you for your personal use. You are free to keep, share, and repost them. You remain responsible for how you use these images, and you must not use them in a way that is unlawful or that misrepresents another person.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

• Stylr offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers, as well as in-app purchase ("IAP") packs.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in line with Apple App Store and Google Play policies.
• Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy and the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable.

7. Intellectual property

The Stylr name, logo, app design, and underlying technology are the property of Stylr and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks or proprietary technology beyond what is necessary to use the Service as intended.

8. Third-party services

Stylr integrates with third-party service providers to deliver core functionality, including image processing, analytics, and payment providers. Your use of Stylr is also subject to the terms of the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) through which you downloaded the app.

9. Affiliate links and shopping recommendations

Stylr's "Shop the Gap" feature and other recommendations may include affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one of these links, Stylr may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This is explained further in our Affiliate Disclosure. Stylr is not responsible for the products, pricing, availability, or customer service of third-party retailers.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Stylr makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of AI-generated recommendations, try-on results, or fit predictions. Styling suggestions are for informational and entertainment purposes and do not constitute professional styling or medical advice regarding body image.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Croatian law, Stylr and its founders, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including purchase decisions made based on Stylr's recommendations.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zagreb, Croatia, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or by email. Continued use of Stylr after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
